Timeshare Resales Recommended In U.S. News & World Report Article

It seems the idea of buying a timeshare resale is catching on! In a recent U.S. News & World Report article entitled 21 Things You Should Never Buy New, timeshares came in at #20. Writer Lynn Truong states that, for families that want to buy a timeshare “purchasing the property as a resale would be a better deal than buying it brand new.” She goes on to say that new buyers should “give it a test run first by renting short term,” something timeshare resale companies have advocated for years - try before you buy!

For those of us who have made our careers in the timeshare industry, or who have owned timeshare for any length of time, it’s easy to forget that not everyone knows about timeshare resales: What might seem like common sense to an insider can be revolutionary to the uninitiated. The abundance of value in the resale market currently really makes it the right time to buy timeshare, something even the mainstream media is beginning to acknowledge!
