Church Street Inn, a Historic Charleston Treasure

October 1st, 2009

Considered by many to be the ‘cultural capital of the south,’ Charleston, South Carolina enjoys a reputation for great food, friendly residents, and well-preserved historic architecture. Amidst the cobblestone streets and antebellum homes, Church Street Inn is far from the ordinary timeshare.

Timeshare Resales and Rentals at Church Street Inn

The resort’s one and two-bedroom town homes have real hardwood floors with oriental carpets, deep leather sofas, and classic floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a quiet courtyard. There’s a 1/2 bath downstairs, along with a full kitchen, and living/dining room. Carpeted bedrooms are located upstairs, with a small balcony off the master.

With Halloween right around the corner, owners and guests at Church Street Inn can walk to some of Charleston’s ‘spooky’ attractions like the ghost tour or the haunted jail tour. For less supernatural thrills, the Old City Market sits just down Market street, with over 100 vendors selling everything from locally grown foods to souvenirs.

Church Street owners get the best of both worlds when it comes to exchanging: The resort trades through Interval International with a Premier rating, or RCI with a Hospitality Award!

The developer, Festiva Resorts, now sells a ‘points-based’ membership, but savvy buyers can still pick-up a deeded timeshare resale week from an existing owner. It’s not often that timeshare demand exceeds supply, but as Charleston vigorously protects its historic district from development, there won’t be more timeshares built here anytime soon. Interested buyers should act now while prices for this timeshare treasure are at their lowest.

The Church Street Inn is very conveniently located in the tourist district, and although proximal to many points of interest to the tourist, it is both quaint and quiet in nature. Not the typical time-share effect, with swimming pools and much exterior property to maintain, the focus of the Inn is welcome hospitality delivered in a respectful and sophisticated manner that is uniquely different to the Disney experience or a beach setting for time shared vacationing. For a week long stay to capture both a relaxed approach to Charleston but which also allows all the attributes of a vacation with sufficient points of interest to enjoy at a comfortable pace, the Church Street Inn well accommodates discriminating tastes for a week out of the normal routine and hurried pace of life. This setting, witnin walking distance to major points of interest in Charleston, is a highly desirable vacation destination.

Love the information about this exciting resort. There was a great article about Charleston recently in the Knoxville News – anyone interested in visiting Charleston should check it out. :)
