A Lot to Love at Branson's Stormy Point Village

August 13th, 2009

Over the past few years, a truly unique resort has developed along the shores of Branson’s Table Rock Lake. Stormy Point Village is an actual ‘timeshare neighborhood’ of detached two and three-bedroom cottages – A concept Summer Bay Resort flirted with successfully in Kissimmee a few years back when they developed ‘The Houses at Summer Bay.’Cottages at Stormy Point Village

From what I’ve heard, Summer Bay’s Houses sold out almost immediately. It would seem the neighborhood concept is a winning one, as sales at Stormy Point are moving briskly as well. Each well-appointed home has wood and tile flooring, stainless steel appliances, flat screen TV, and fireplace.Stormy Point Village Living Room

At one time, Festiva Resorts was selling Stormy Point Village, with owners able to exchange to other Festiva resorts, as well as through Interval International. Currently, Summerwinds Resorts is marketing the property, and Interval has assigned the designation ‘Stormy Point Village – Summerwinds Resorts’ to property sold by this developer. All phases of the resort have been awarded Interval’s prestigious Premier rating.

On property, owners will enjoy a small marina with boat launch, on-site boat rentals, indoor and outdoor pools, and a newly completed clubhouse with activities.  Since, as of yet, no points-based programs are offered at Stormy Point, you can enjoy seeing the same ‘neighbors’ throughout the week; making new friends and acquaintances.

A lot of timeshare resorts offer a sense of community, but few combine the privacy available in Stormy Point Village‘s detached units – definitely nice work!

The timeshare at Branson’s Stormy Point Village is great and unique in some ways. You’ll expect a sense of community and and leisure in that timeshare resort. Great! Nice resort.
